Most of you are likely super-duper confused about all of my Upcyclethiss and Ozarksthats, so Im going to just spill the beans... to simplify everything so it isnt so mysterious and confusing. I have 5 things going all that all lead to being my long-term alternative & sustainable income sources... I dont want to live off of state and local assistance for the remainder of my life - I want to give back to my family, friends, neighbors & community (as well as tax payers) for how much theyve supported me and never asked for anything in return. Its my turn to pay-it-forward. #1: My photography work & products - found here on Tara Davidson Snuggle Bug & on OzarksArtist-TD.weebly - these are what has brought me back into a sense of self after amnesia struck me (from being hit by a car while walking on a rural road out in KS after we lost our house, 2nd house option, & our business in KC,MO.) *_The profits made from this photo-work will fund my OD (Ozarks Deluxe) luxurious body products, starting with my making the bar-soaps._* #2: Ozarks Deluxe - here on FB & OzarksDeluxe.weebly for the under-construction website - this is my soap-bar company. I use ZERO dyes, chemical additives, or unnatural ingredients. I use Hemp-based glycerin, goats milk, shae butter & aloe soap bases - organic essential oils diluted with hemp-seed carrier oil - nothing illegal, immoral, or unnatural goes into my soaps. I use sustainable processes and package the soap bars in a sturdy & biodegradable, compostable, recycled paper-fiber packaging. *_This company will be funding Upcycle Demolition & Recycling - which will house & feed supplies to Ups ResQd Clothing & Toys shops, as well as offer a local composting & mulching facility._** #3, #4, & #5: Upcycles ResQd Clothing & Upcycles ResQd Toys which will be ran under Upcycle Demolition & Recycling - (no websites, yet.) - the demo & recycling center will also offer the local composting & mulching facility, as well as feed Ups ResQd Clothing & Toys shops - to give our community vibrant new creations made from what was once considered waste. *_I want to employ locals & online workers who would not normally be able to keep a normal, steady income, due to their PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder,] PCD [post-concussion disorder,] TBI-issues [traumatic brain injury,] Chronic illness/pain-issues, Aspies (people with Aspergers Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorders: Support Group which is a great resource - if you havent already discovered it] & other people with disabilities. I think their talents can be utilized and shared in a meaningful and productive manner - and bring jobs to those whod likely never find their right fit in the working world. To help others to be self-sufficient, like Im currently doing for myself._*
