Most of you know that I work to make Trek-like technology eventually achievable. What you might not know is that I am even more motivated to improve the human condition - to help humanity mature past our self-absorbed, self-destruction and toward the ideals voiced in this fiction. For me, advancing physics is easier than advancing humanism, hence my niche. But for all of us to survive and thrive, we must aspire toward these higher ideals. This video is 15 min long, but if you need a re-boost of inspiration, it is worth listening to its words. Ad astra incrementis. Lets conquer the unknown, rather than each other.
