Most people have been asking for an update on the Bike Riders vs Edo State Government case. Well, we filed an appeal against the decision of the Federal High Court, Benin City. The Appeal was filed to the Court of Appeal. Principally, we are asking for the decision of the Federal High Court to be set aside and the verbal ban by Oshionmole nullified. It will be recalled that the Federal High Court held that since there were other means of transportation and movement, like Bus, Car, Aeroplane, Boat, etc, the Fundamental Rights of the Bike Riders was not breached. Well, we do not agree with the proposition. The Court of Appeal has not fixed a Hearing date.
