Most people think the insurance takes care of your medical - TopicsExpress

Most people think the insurance takes care of your medical expenses, says former rider Jacky Martin. That half-million dollar insurance claim was gone in 5 weeks. Jacky Martin was paralyzed September 2011 when he broke his neck in three places, the result of a tragic riding accident. Jacky is paralyzed from the neck down and still needs the occasional assistance from a ventilator to help him breathe. Jackys wife, Tracey, is his avid supporter and primary caretaker. With funds donated to the PDJF, the Martins were able to purchase a used paratransit (lift) bus and modify it just for Jackys use. Few really wonder what life in a wheelchair is like, she says. But until youve lived it, you just cant know. YOUR donations to the PDJF help Jacky Martin and some 60 other permanently disabled riders. Please Text JOCKEY to 50555 to donate $10 to the PDJF on our special day. (Text messaging charges may apply.) Thank you for your support!
