***Movember Health Tip #2*** Sweeping statements... How can we be stuck in a sedentary job, eating poor quality food, hunched over a computer, under stress from 9-5, five days a week, and expect to have the time or energy to work on our weight, health and fitness in the remaining hours? I agree there are many temptations out there. I agree that hectic schedules and work often leave you feeling like you have no time. I agree often it is a vicious circle. You are sat all day at a desk in a stressful job, so you are maybe feeling low in energy come the end of the day. However, before you decide to wait a little while longer until the government bring in new initiatives to make it easier. Have a think about the amount of time in a typical day you spend watching television. Have a think about the amount of time you spend in a day on Facebook or browsing the internet. Have a think about the amount of time you spend playing games on your phone or xbox. Some of the biggest problems is misinformation, lack of education and lack of knowledge of where to start on a journey towards health. But dont tell me that you dont have enough time to exercise or prepare food if you spend more than half an hour doing any of the 3 things above. It is a responsibility, and if you realise that actions that you take today will have a profound effect on your tomorrow, that this is your body and your health for life, hopefully that is enough of a kick start.
