Movie fans and friends in general, consider checking out an independent film you may have missed: All Relative. Synopsis: When Harry, an architecture graduate student in NYC, meets Grace, he immediately falls for her. With the help of some dating tips from a seductive older woman, Harry successfully courts Grace, but when hes introduced to her parents, a shared secret turns his world into a living nightmare. Forced to survive a weekend riddled with tension and socially awkward moments, the bonds of both couples are tested to their breaking point. The film is shot by the very talented cinematographer Andreas von Scheele. I highly recommend it, not just because he is my brother in law, but also because its fresh, a little french, and a welcome breath of new and stimulating to watch when youre as bored, cold, and sick of the typical slew Hunger Games of Transformers movies as I was.
