Movie treatment: A young black woman, Rose, living in NYC, turns out to be a young black man (Barkhad Abdi) in drag. With AIDS. He is married to a wealthy investment banker (Kevin Spacey) who is busted for fraud and goes to jail, losing everything. Left penniless, Rose moves to Centennial, CO, to live with her sister (Amy Adams) a barfly who works for McDonnell Douglas (Matthew McConaughey.) She tries to get Rose a job at the firm, and during a routine background check it is discovered that Rose has 12 years left to serve on an indentured servitude contract signed by her great great great great grandfather (Meryl Streep.) She is farmed out to NASA for AIDS experiments aboard the International Space Station (Judi Dench.) While mixing a small batch of meth in the lab, she causes an explosion that makes the space station come, like, totally apart. In the last scene, Rose is seen riding a hunk of smoldering rubble (Harrison Ford) to Earth, waving a cowboy hat and screaming Eeeee-Haaawwww! before crashing into the Freedom Tower, surprising a large ape (Jennifer Lawrence) who is clinging to the top. I think Angie would pick it up. It has so much heart! If not, watch this space for the Kickstarter!
