Mr. Bean Digitally Inserted into Historical Portraits by Rodney Pike CUBE BREAKER / 9 hours ago Caricature artist Rodney Pike digitally manipulates photos of celebrities and political figures such as Bill Murray, the Obamas, and Henry Kissinger to alter the faces leaving them with humorous proportions. One of his favorite subjects has been digitally inserting actor Rowan Atkinson‘s classic character from British television, Mr. Bean, into historical portraits. Pike seamlessly swaps Mr. Bean’s face in place of portraits of figures such as George Washington, carefully matching all aspects of the original painting so that at a quick glance one might not notice the trickery. A quick study of the portrait’s face is a dead giveaway, however, with the over the top expressions Atkinson is famous for present in every altered portrait. He’s even added some nice little details like Mr. Bean’s beloved teddy bear into many of the paintings! See more on Pike’s website or Deviant Art page. Source: Rodney Pike via My Modern Met
