Mr Bullits latest project as mentioned earlier this month the bike was delivered to Vipermotos and looks in good condition, we shall see. The project to turn this Yamaha 250 Special into a Street Tracker. Well so it begins the full unabridged boring version of the Build up to the Yamaha Tracker. First I wanted to clean everything (normal) the wheels the engine /gearbox but could not find a friendly cheap (as in FREE) place to get the parts Sand Blasted or soda blasted its more gentle. So make my own YES...drawings (to many to mention) angle iron tons off....fancy sawing all those ends by hand at 45 deg so I could weld them spot on in this weather NO. So get the old Chop saw wood type out and modify it to Chop saw metal YES..see photo save time as well as getting them all the same (just lazy thats me). So first stage done tomorrow down to San Miguel visit our friendly metal shop Supplier of Bespoke gates doors and bits for my projects another busy day at the Viper Propulsion Laboratory......watch this space.
