Mr. E (the custodian at Brookes elementary school - see full story in the post before this one) retired this May. Brooke graduated in June. And tonight, we visited him and his wife at their beautiful home. Why? Because family is where you find it. {images are photos from our visit to Mr. and Mrs. Es house tonight. The first photo is of Brooke cracking up as Mr. E says in a deadpan, Dont look at me. The second is of the mantle above their fireplace on which sit two family photos, a framed photo of Brooke and Mr. E and the drawing that she made for him three years ago. The third, which Brooke insisted I share here, is of her HUGGING Mrs E, whom she met for the first time tonight.
