Mr. Ezekwesili Stanly is a well educated business man working in the petroleum industry from Enugu state, Nigeria. He came to the SCOAN with the problem of addiction to eating sharp sand, an ingredient or material that is used for building houses. He said that one day as he was driving his car, the scent or smell that arose from the asphalt became extremely attractive to him and gave him an urge to eat sharp sand. This urge continued to torment him until he was at his house where construction was taking place. He picked up some sharp sand and tasted it to satisfy the urge. He thought that once he ate it he would come to his senses but to his surprise it tasted even better to him than normal food, “It was as good as eating yogurt,” he said. He tried prayer and fasting to break the addiction but it only made it worse. This also gave him constipation. He discovered Emmanuel TV and decided to come down to The SCOAN for deliverance. On his arrival, he was placed at the prayer line, where he had an encounter with Prophet T.B. Joshua and brought the issue to him. He demonstrated the addiction to eating sharp sand and then Prophet T.B. Joshua asked him a few questions and prayed for him. The Spirit of God delivered him in Jesus’ name and he came to his senses. A poisonous substance came out of his body and the attractive smell and good taste of sharp sand was no more. The man of God commended him and stated that “Your confession saves many souls”.
