Mrs. Dora Laverne Harper Singleton, age 47, of Douglas, passed away Thursday morning, June 27, 2013, at her home, following a short illness. Survivors include: Her Husband: James Luke Singleton of Douglas, Ga.; Daughter: Christy (William) Singleton of Douglas, Ga.; Son: Brandon Singleton of Warner Robins, Ga.; Step-Daughter: Amanda Kirkland of Douglas, Ga.; Brothers: Johnny Harper of Moultrie, Ga., Bobby Harper of Americus, Ga., and Joseph Harper of Douglas, Ga.; Grandchild: Aries Cato of Douglas, Ga. Step-Grandchildren: Hollie Kirkland, and Brooklyn Kirkland, both of Douglas, Ga.; Sister-In-Law: Shirley Gonzalez of Americus, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 11:00 A. M., at the Calvary Mission Holiness Baptist Church, with Rev. Gene Chaney, officiating. The Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
