Ms Val is back on-line but not back in KC. Had to take a vacation for the weekend etc. 25 yr HS reunion and wow was it great. Had anxiety bc it was first time I have seen these folks since DV incident and wow I was so relieved that I was received as I was prior and not as a cracked vase. Most of them know bc of Over the Rainbow Program and my friend requests etc. The ones who cared showed support and kudos to a recovery still in progress as it may be but it was so refreshing. No judement, no pitty, no doom or gloom, just plain ole folks I was afraid to tell what was going on at the time. Support like you would not believe even a few who shared as well. WE CAN DO THIS... I feel like I have been at a Spa Retreat and it is not over I will continue in Omaha till Friday but back home Friday to continue the Motorcycle Benefit Ride. Aug. 9th if nothing else and u dont ride and u are local let me know and we could use u as a volunteer right along with me... Thanks to Gails Harley-Davidson we will have radio spots with Slacker 101 the Fox to promote the Ride. msg me if you want to be involved in some way noone will know who you are etc. Just a time maybe to regain some self confidence. ~Ms. Val ps dont think I am bragging I am going to post pic from reuion in Omaha just to show how the pain and bruises can turn around in the right direction with the right support.
