Mummys birthday was amazing! It was the first joyous family get-together we had since the passing of Daddy in August of this year. It was a small tight-knit gathering of mainly her children, and grandchildren. A few friends and family-support were also in attendance. After a mouth-watering lunch, the children entertained us with singing and dancing they secretly practiced the whole weekend. It was fun as we all joined in the shuffle. In addition to the reading and presentation of their hand-made birthday cards, I was most struck by the amounts of tight hugging my children were lavished by my mother. Grandmothers rule the world! Happy birthday Mummy: you rock!!
