Mums Christmas List Dear Santa. My list is quite long But I have been pretty good. Im not sure Ill get all these things But it would be lovely if I could! Id like to put my feet up And have a hot cup of tea. Without any little people Climbing on my knee! Id love to have these dark circles Magically erased For people to see the hard work I do, And then to be a little bit praised. Id love for my hair to look right, On the early morning school run. And perhaps have a crazy night out, To laugh and have good fun. If someone could do my ironing, Each week and hang it away And tidy up my house At the end of every day. Id like my children to play nicely, No pushing or pulling hair To not shout for me when I leave the room, And to learn to share! Could you reduce the cost of toys, And maybe wrap them all for me? And come and take the decs down, At the start of January? 8 solid hours sleep, And to have the remote all to myself Would be a brilliant treat, Could you perhaps ask an elf? But my biggest wish really, If I can only have one this year Is to see a smile on my childs face That goes from ear to ear. Christmas is about the little ones, A time for them all to enjoy. So my one request is happiness For each little girl and boy. You can leave the designer handbag, And those shoes arent essential. When it comes to gifts, The important ones are sentimental. The magic of Christmas, Should be shared out in equal parts. So please let everyone be happy, With warm feelings in their hearts. I still believe in Santa Claus, The legend of St Nick. I will keep you alive for as long as I can, By not letting my children grow up too quick. Please stop by on Christmas Eve, Well leave a mince pie out for you.
