Muni Blues By Tony Robles It might be a curse or my imagination but for some reason people wont sit next to me on the Muni bus (Some might consider that a blessing) For instance, Ill be on a Muni bus and all seats are taken except the one next to me And Im considerate, i dont put my backpack or feet on the seat But still, the bus will fill and the seat next to me will remain empty a friend of mine says its the curse of being a born and raised San Franciscan a sort of vibe that indicates that our clothes and haircuts are out of style and that we somehow dont belong here What i do tend to attract on Muni are the coughers and sneezers Put me anywhere on a muni bus and a cougher and sneezer will find me Hacking, wiping and blowing their altruistic germs all over the one thing that is shared freely in this great city of ours (c) 2014 Tony Robles
