Museum curator Amy has been working with a set of 18 maps showing plans for the D-day landings. She has been placing the fragile documents in protective sleeves and working out how they fit together to make up the northern coast of France. These maps show Sword, Juno and Gold beaches and date from 14th April 1944. It is believed that one of the places marked here is Port-en-Bessin, captured by 47 Commando on 7th June.
