Music Mania Thanks, Dont know where to start really!! If I forget to mention anyone please excuse me but everthing is shutting down now for recovery!!! Firstly, thank you to all of you that attended Music Mania 2014. Your support is amazing and we hope that the reason many of you keep coming back year on year is that we are doing something right. This year we had a couple of issues with some new and increased additions to the event, being larger toilets and the electrics to the Soul Marquee and we will look at improving on this again next year. I/we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused with this but im sure it didnt spoil your fun. A massive thanks to my wife Ali for being my rock. This year for the first year she was actually able to get off the gate house at 9pm and go and enjoy herself with everyone else, love you Ali and big kisses. To Jackie for being the legal guru that she is and ensuring that we make the event as safe as possible for everyone, which is paramount when putting on any event but even more so with something the size of Music Mania. To David for our photography, which will soon be on here for everyone to enjoy and tag away. Thanks to the Music Mania team, Becky, Lucy, Tim, Mike, Karen, Heva-mick, Sally, Ricky, Alan, Wayne, H, Abby, Julia, Ian, Ben and Callum. You are all amazing people and true friends. Many people probably arent aware of the days and days of work required to set up an event as big as Music Mania and then take it down after and the fact that we all do it in our spare time just the fun of it. Thank you again guys and girls. Thank you to all our business sponsors, Paul McBride Building, Winner Events, Subway Exhibitions, Parker Building Supplies, Blue Sparks Electrical and A Star Scaffolding. A very special thanks to Ian Brown from Winner Events, not only do Winner supply a lot of our site equipment but Ian also works his socks off as part of our event team. To Carol Harrison for supporting us with presentations, the raffle and the auction. To all the bands, DJs and performers for what I think you will all agree was an amazing weekend of music. AND, most importantly to the boys from our Armed Forces who always attend in an official capacity in uniform to assist with our charity work. My son Lewis, (Royal Navy), Keiron, (Army), Shane (Royal Airforce), Sam (Army) and Chris ( Royal Navy, retired). Music Mania officially registers with Help for Heroes every year to raise money from general collections, raffle, event patch sales, wrist band sales and auction. Every penny from these aspects goes to H4H and this year the auction alone raised £1730, with biggest item (signed Pete Townshend crash helmet) raising £850. Once the girls have had chance to finalise the rest we will publicly anounce the grand total once the official certificate is received from H4H. Again I sincerely apologize if I have not mentioned anyone by name but I hope you all had an amazing time and we hope you will all come back next year and bring your friends as well because at the end of the day it is only because you attend that we are able to put on Music Mania. Darren and the Music Mania Team.
