Music has alot of special meaning to me. I think I have had a special attachment and talent for it since a young age. This movie preview touched me today and being Christmas Eve, I wanted to share this message with you all. I have never experienced having to deal with an aging parent. My dad died at a fairly young age and my mom...a beautifully stubborn woman, will probably outlive me. But this felt like something worth sharing, especially today. Its message was something different to me I think than most other people. Today, and tommorrow,, just stop and listen. Listen to the music. Its powerful, and Its all around you. Its not always an instrument or a singer that you will hear, But if you listen hard, its always there. It might just be the laughter in your sons voice, or a bird that is chirping away outside, or maybe just the wind howling through a cold winter day. It might be a kiss from your beautiful wife, or the happiness you feel when you get to tell a parent that you love them. These things are music also. They r the bits of secret, hidden treasure that you will find everyday if you just stop...and listen. It will make you feel happy, sad, maybe excited, or even angry... but it will make you FEEL. That is the power of music of all kinds, even if its not the notes in a goofy Christmas song that you happen to hear at that one special moment. So stop my friends, and listen. I hope on this Christmas Eve all of my family and friends find the music in there own lives as I do in mine every day, and I wish you all good tidings and Joy. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
