Musical Mondays: The Piano Guys. Heres an oldie but a goodie. My mom recently just reshared this video with me. I appreciate the musicality that The Piano Guys bring to their work. Not only that I love that what they are doing here in this video. They are giving back to their community, they are bringing a joyful spirit that only music can bring and they are taking it to a place that is not always so happy and joyful. They are taking these residents on a trip down memory lane, when the aches and pains werent so bad, when more friends were alive, when life was easier and maybe less complicated. And even for some who knows this may have been the last bit of live music ever shared with them. But it moved them all, it took them all to a better state. Music is very powerful. As an artist we can use it for good or for bad. To build people up and encourage, or to tear down and depress.
