Musically, 2014 has been the best of my life. Ive gotten to travel around the country with my brothers playing with some amazing bands and we released the record I am more proud of than any other I have ever been a part of. We put our hearts and souls into recording The Scars We Hide. Ive seen lots of Top ten lists of the year recently and while its amazing to be mentioned, at the end of the day its about what you feel about the music you have made. The songs on this record are a musical representation of what we were feeling during the year that these songs were written. For the rest of my life, when I listen to these songs I will remember countless hours spent in the studio with my brothers and how much fun I had with them. For that reason alone, all of the hard work we put into making this record was more than worth it.
