Musings: Im reading this book and asking myself if lawyers have the room to be daft like the rest of us. The intellectual challenge in law is very real. If I was asked what I think of lawyers in real life, Im not sure what Id say. Never interacted with them much or bothered with legal jargon. But a good, sharp lawyer who knows his tuff well, well, thats something else. On screen and books, they are the most fascinating lot to read about and to watch. John Grisham introduced me to courtroom drama, have read all of his novels..then theres Scott Turow, Michael A. Kahn, Haper Lee, & Michael Connelly... Stuff Id read anytime. Legal TV dramas have always been my favourites; The West Wing, Law & Order, L.A Law, The Practice, and lastly my best, Boston Legal & The Suits!! If you like this kind of stuff and never heard of Harvey Specter or Alan Shore, too bad. They dont produce enough courtroom drama for TV!!! Smart, quick minds fascinate me and I guess Id trade mine for a smart lawyers any day. I also think if I dislike anything, its the law not the lawyer. #nowreading
