Muslim Children Studying in The Schools of The Disbelievers Question: What is the ruling on a man who registers his son or his daughter in a French or English school – which are both in opposition to the teachings of the Religion. Whilst he claims to be a Muslim and that he is seeking a good future for them? Answer: It is obligatory upon the father that he cultivates his offspring – whether they are male or female with an Islamic cultivation. For they are a trust in his hand; and he will be responsible for them on The Day of Judgement. Thus it is impermissible for him to enter them into the schools of the disbelievers for fear offitnah(trial) and of the corruption of ones belief as well as manners/conduct.
