Must read article on YAR Golf Putter. Quick summary: Dr V, supposedly a world class physicist, invents this revolutionary putter. Creates a mystique around her by being mostly inaccessible due to her eccentric nature and top secret government background. Somehow, Gary McCord gets into a conversation with her and she convinces Gary that her physics and scientific knowledge proves all golf manufacturer underlying science to be wrong and that you should have a putter with zero MOI (in english means less twisting of the putter at impact). Gary McCord (one of the great putters ever, who could use a broomstick and still make putts), tried it out and of course makes lots of putts and believes that Dr. V has created something special, because she talks a good game and in non-english terms, where you cant understand what shes saying. Gary McCord, without being paid, is so convinced that he endorses this putter to his friends and on the Golf Channel/CBS. Today, an article came out that says that the investor was not a physicist at all, was in fact an auto-mechanic, with a troubled not storied past, who recently committed suicide.
