Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the incident of firing on the polio team in the city’s Qayumabad area and expressed his deep grief over the loss of three volunteers, including two women. In a condemnation statement, the MQM chief termed the incident `barbaric’ and urged the government to provide full protection to the volunteers of polio teams as they have been rendering humanitarian service.
