My 19 1/2 year old d2 full power conversion missile is possibly the most entertaining bike I have owned. Its used all year round in all weather. Its a bit tatty to look at but its mine its paid for and fast as f*+k. It rolls on pirelli diablo strada and I get almost 7000 out of the rear. It gets thrown about like a 600 race rep and does it very well. Just the other day whilst cleaning it, I found fragments of fireblade and r1 stuck in the air scoops. must have been a couple it ate earlier lol. Its covered about 67000 miles 28000 of them by me in 2 1/2 years.
