My #2 person for helping others--and my informal FB Christmas - TopicsExpress

My #2 person for helping others--and my informal FB Christmas award for those who help others and live their Faith (and there are many but these 2 I know personally and I have dealt with and stand out) is an outspoken advocate for Veterans and more Mexican and more Hispanic then most of us and a great guy and a Veteran himself and another unpaid person and unsung hero who has to the detriment to himself helped others--and that is none other then Christopher LaFayelle who is a Veteran, Veterans advocate, and a great guy. Like Julie Contreras you have to ignore their calls unless you want to get roped into a volunteering to help Veterans in Christophers case or immigrants in Julies case. He has done a lot for Veterans housing. He has invited me to be on at least 3 boards. He asked me to review contracts. He goes to almost every Veterans event. He lobbies for Veterans. Protests for Veterans. Gets into fights with municipalities and NIMBY people over Veterans housing. He helps wounded vets formally and informally. He is very polite and kind and understanding and forgiving and just a great guy. I respect and honor his service but his advocacy for Veterans (especially in housing and amazingly so with Hispanic Veterans) is outstanding and unpaid and unsung and he has suffered for doing it. He has a passion for helping vets and just cant say now. I honor you and your work Christopher LaFayelle.
