My Aunt, Ethel Smart was from Morocco Indiana. Her and her husband - TopicsExpress

My Aunt, Ethel Smart was from Morocco Indiana. Her and her husband Harley A. Smart had one of the local insurance agencies in downtown Morocco. The Harley A. Smart Agency She was active in many clubs and associations including the local camera club. She was a pretty good amateur movie maker. (She was the first person in our family to obtain an 8mm camera and projector, and none of our family members had ever been filmed in a moving picture. For this reason, these early films are quite posed and often have the family members parading by to be filmed. For me, this was AWESOME as it seems that my Aunt had a clear objective to preserve for future generations, our family members as they were at that time.) I have in my possession her entire collection of silent home movies. They begin in 1950 and end in about 1965. Thankfully they have been in climate controlled storage all these years and were in quite good condition. I am also keeping them in a humidity and temperature controlled environment. Back in 2010 I spent some time going through the films and made some video conversions of some of the best ones. This video is the 25th anniversary of my Grandparents Fern and Sylvester Snell. April 1957, two months before I was born. My Mom is in this video, with me inside her. :) If any family members have not seen this series of videos, drop me a message and I will send you the links to this group. They are on YouTube but are unlisted. You need the links from me to watch them. This one is five minutes in length. https://youtube/watch?v=IjAz2yBfeSU
