My DD has just turned 2 and has been without a dummy during the daytime for many months now, but still has it to settle at nap and bedtime. She seemed quite happy not having a dummy during the day- it was almost like natural progression for her, but now we have decided to try and take her dummy away for sleep too. We tried it during a daytime nap and asked her if she was happy to go to sleep without it- she said yes and made no real fuss, yet asked for it immediately when we put her in her cot. We left her to it and she chatted away to herself happily, but didnt drift off at all. Just wondered if anyone has any tips for getting her to lose the dummy for sleeps too. Thanks.
