My Dad had always forbid me from getting into music, afraid that it would later cause problems in a marriage, family life, and to try to shield me from some of the harsh realities of playing in the clubs. Well at the age of 14 i asked my Dad to see his guitar, i had this song in my head that i thought i could play, being that i had never touched a guitar he said here, and i have no ideal how i knew, but i played this song note for note right off the bat and asked if he knew it, he had this real puzzled look on his face and said well its not the sons of the pioneer version i know, but damn i guess its just in your blood. I got me a Rickenbacher guitar the next day and have been playing this version ever since. Thanks Daddy...the guitar is really about the only passion except for my kids that i have in life, and i wouldnt have it if you hadnt finally said ok.
