My Dad passed away 3 years ago, and my Mom was having a hard time this past weekend. Feeling anxious, and lonely. She asked if I could come over to the house and bring Roxi. She started feeling better once we got there and she was holding and petting Roxi. I told her she should get a Papillon. They are just so loving and great little lap dogs. There is a Pap rescue not to far from us. She would do well with a dog thats already been trained. My question is. Would rescue give a dog to a older person? She is in her mid 70s.
