My Dad told me once that he had asked an old man what the hardest part of growing old was. The old man told him it was remembering when you were young. As I get older Im starting to understand what he meant. Never forget where you come from, never forget where you got your name and never let go of your memories. To all my Elders now in Heaven, thank you for my life, thank you for the wisdom you tried to pass on and thank you for the memories. Granny Babbits yard is where some my best times were spent. And I still see it in color!
