My Diet Coke Bomb ~ By Cindy Myers Im on a bus trip and Tom is driving. I am sitting by myself and was content knowing I had a can of my favorite beverage stowed in the holder, hanging from the back of the seat in front of me. I am known to have diet coke dribbles down the fronts of my shirts, but today went above and beyond that! The passengers in the front half of the bus were suddenly brought to attention and making startled vocalizations following a loud explosion in the aisle. To my embarrassed horror, I looked down and witnessed my sacred can of diet coke on the floor, very powerfully exploding. I couldnt even see the can, only could see liquid spraying in all directions. The noisy bang was followed by hissing. I looked up to see several sweet ladies in their tender years wiping at diet coke in their hair, on their glasses and spotted on their clothes. Oh my....... Diet Coke rivulets down the aisle. Tom continued driving and most likely was trying to ignore the situation, thinking: really, what else is she capable of! After the initial impact and assessment, I find some paper towels. Diet coke is spotted on the windows and on the storage bins and ceiling above, the worst can explosion ever!!!! I dont know if it was me or who, but....we all started laughing uncontrollably while I handed out paper towels for them to dry themselves. We truly all had some good belly laughs. I resorted to crawling on my hands and knees to scrub the floor. Stella looked down at me and said: Thanks for the memory Cindy.😃😃😃
