My Fellow Liberians, I want to first thank God for a peaceful conduct of the Mid-election, and all Liberians for manifesting that we too can be counted upon in Africa for sustaining Democracy. Though I am glad with the result, especially from Montserrado County, but it did not come as a surprise to me. My joy tonight is because this time, they have allow the Liberian people will to prevail by giving them their heart desire (Amb. George Weah). Saddened also because they(Liberian people) were deprived twice for what has now turn to be the worse nightmare (Mdm. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf) in our country history. It is my prayers that God grant Amb. Weah the wisdom and endurance to perform in the way that the Liberian People will not regret his election. But even if he does not, I urge every Liberian to know that t Legislative politics is not the same as Executive Politics. His ideas which will have to be vetted by others through votes may be denied or suppressed just to make him unpopular, but we should not stop nor give up on him until he is taken to the Executive Mansion where his good intention for Liberia that could be burred at the Legislature in his attempt to make them Laws, will be implemented as policies. Long live Ambassador Weah, long live the peace loving people of Montserrado County in particular, and the Republic of Liberia in general.....
