Download the whole story (PDF w/pics) here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent/u/1543641/My%20first%20Triathlon%20was%20an%20IRONMAN.pdf ...when I watched Travis complete the IRONMAN in Panama City, Florida and Tempe, Arizona, he would always ask me “When are you going to do one with me?” Every time I looked at him like he was a crazy person and said “Never!” But then suddenly I found myself standing on a platform ready to jump into the ocean at 7 AM with 2800 other insane people. As I sat with him, enjoying our first post-training Dos Equis Verde beer as two IRONMAN finishers, he said, “So when are you going to sign up for your next one?” I gave a wink and a smile and said, “Never.”
