My Gracie loves to watch cooking shows. Last night we watched chopped and this morning she asked her Daddy to take her to the grocery store cause she had a creation she wanted to make. All by herself (other than the stove part) and out of her own imagination she made the following: Gracie Apple/Carmel Cornbread 1 loaf cornbread cut into 1 inch pieces - bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Til outside in crunchy 2-3 apples diced 2 tsp lemon juice 2 tbsp. white sugar 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2-3 shakes of cinnamon 1/2 stick butter put apple mixture in small sauce pan and cook on med heat (stir often) until apples are soft. Serve the warm apples over the warm cornbread with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with Carmel Super yummy and she is very proud.
