My Heart hurts for My community this morning ! A young life was taken , just 14 years old and shot by a police officer ! What will happen ? What will this mother of the 14 year old do ? What answers will she be given ? Will they only blame this young boy or will the police take responsibility for their actions as well ! No amount of time takes away losing a child , no matter how the child dies, it hurts for a life time ! It is an ache that no one could imagine unless you have suffered the loss of a child ! It is not a black or white issue , it is a human being issue , boys will be boys and girls will be girls ! No matter how much we teach our kids right from wrong sometimes the choice is not theirs ! The choice is made for them ! A police officer has to deal with his or her own actions and emotions , did they make a mistake ? Was it a gun the boy was holding or a cell phone ? Does it really matter now ? The boy is gone and the police officer is hurting as well !! The days of innocent and guilty does not really matter anymore as well , its about assumption and knowing better then your neighbor or the authorities , or in this days case hardly anyone anymore knows their neighbor anymore ! Its not Love thy neighbor anymore , those days are long gone. No matter how close you are to them. We are one miserable nation now , everyone hates everyone and everyone finds fault with everyone ! When did this world fall to Hell ? What happened to our youth ? What happened to the parents ? What happened to God ?? I remember when it was God you feared the most ! You worried about disappointing your parents and your peers. No one is embarrassed of their actions anymore. Peer pressure and Bullying is so out of control these days that even the ones who no right from wrong get trapped into doing something that they dont have the time to make a clear choice , your either in or out. No one truly Prays anymore ! If I could wish one thing, I think it would be everyone would be the same race , same background, same everything , then maybe we would not be so divided about race ! This is what we know for sure , a 14 year old was shot 3 times, a mother is in horrible disbelief , brothers and sisters do not understand the loss and a mother is crying as I type knowing she will not see her baby again until God calls her home ! A young man will not grow up to be a doctor , lawyer , basketball player or a Preacher ! Who knows what he would of been !! But most will label him a Thug because that is easier to say because he was black ! I know there are far worse things then a few kids going into an empty house ! I Pray for my city today , tomorrow and the day after, we need healing in our communities. Our children have no clue what its like to live in a non-divided community ! We have to make changes in our nation or things like this will happen every minute of everyday !! I Pray for ALL GODS PEOPLE !! Lord Jesus please keep watch over my people and our community !!
