My KJV Bible contains NOT the words sanctification process. It DOES say, Walk not in the flesh but in the Spirit. (Notice, only two options, no process in between.) It is Christ in me Who lives His life in and through the Believer. Living the Christian life (striving hard to do this, dont do that) is walking in the flesh Living the Christ life (His life in me, bearing His fruit, not my own) is walking in the Spirit. My KJV Bible contains NOT the words sinful nature to describe the Believer. It DOES say that the Believer is crucified with Christ is a new creature in Christ and is born again. Does a crucified, born again, new creature in Christ have a sinful nature? Christ did a finished work in us on the cross. Yes, the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Yes, we are very capable of sinning. And yes, WE HAVE THE SAME POWER THAT RESURRECTED JESUS from the dead which EMPOWERS US to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh when we ABIDE IN Him. Believer, you are NOT in any kind of a process. You can do nothing to become sanctified. Christ did it all. You can choose to walk in the Spirit rather than in the flesh. You can consider it joy when you face trials which develops perseverance so that you may be MATURE in your faith. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling is maturing, showing on the outside what Christ has accomplished on the inside. One more note: The FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is just that: Of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is nothing we can develop or achieve. It is not character that can be taught or learned. The fruit of the Spirit is an overflow of the heart that ABIDES IN CHRIST. AMEN!
