My Kid took his first half of MCAS today. The way that they prep for it, rallies, practices, and wanting us to send an encouraging note about a stupid test pisses me off, they put so much pressure on the kids about the test and ignore data, if the kids cant sit still they take recess away, duh! How about that he gets good grades, hes empathetic, good sense of humor, and creative. Luckily my kid deals with nonsense much better than I ever did. My words of encouragement for him, Do good or the school bus becomes a mini van. I wonder what his MCAS score will be for his sense of humor?
