My Mom loved Elvis Presley and this song always reminds me of my Mom. The holidays havent been the same since she passed away in 2000...but I watch this video and remember how excited she got when this special was on when I was around 10 years old (1968) In my young mind I was like Wow! Hes a big star! Later on I took her to see Elvis live in my hometown of Fort Wayne In...that was Oct 1976, Mom was so happy, even though Elvis was very overwieght and could barely bend over to give the girls the scarves off his neck, he still had that amazing voice. My Mom screamed like a school girl. Elvis died the next year, but my mom always wanted to play Blue Christmas during the holidays in his honor.
