My New Year present for myself. I once heard a phrase In the Czech Republic there are no artists. Only Alphonse Mucha, but he was just an ads printmaker (pronounced with disdain) Since then Ive made a point to learn as much as I can about Czech art and Czech artists. Who are numerous, very special and talented. I use every possible occasion to inform the misinformed (or simply ignorant ones) about the topic.
