My New Years Resolution is to spend six months minimum (Ill keep going if its working for me) on a morning to mid/late afternoon work schedule, the same each day, instead of a loose late morning to whenever I finally collapse (usually around two in the morning) schedule. I want to use my time more efficiently so that I get everything I need to get done each done along with a trip to the gym and some extra time to invest in spare-time activities a bit more fulfilling than drifting to sleep in front of the TV with a glass of wine in my hand. My strategy is to start the day with a run at the gym. Bundle the two difficult to do things into the same bundle of get it over with. Each day Ill have checked off the two things I have the hardest time accomplishing by 9 a.m., with the whole rest of the day to work my way easy-breezy through the rest. Anyone else who lives or works downtown want to join me on the treadmill at 8 a.m. each weekday starting Monday? I go to the YMCA on Argyle. Well run for half an hour, high five, and feel amazing for the rest of the day. Seriously, who is with me?
