My Observation; Selma, the match, the movie, the reason. Movements - TopicsExpress

My Observation; Selma, the match, the movie, the reason. Movements for change generally are born due to need, rights, bravery. Those who are willing to speak out, stand out, be seen and heard. To put themselves at risk. It sometimes requires someone whom the oppressed, suppressed, and disenfranchised feel had appeal, others attention and may even be hated to get others to listen. Every group, culture, or race had a spokesman, or possibly an event. The Civil Rights movement had many. Today the hope still raging and trying. Yesterday none as big as Selma. Many arent aware of the battles, the struggle. Even of my own race. The young of my race needed to see The Help, and now Selma. Today we arent taught such in life or school. Open your eyes and your consciousness. See How and What weve done to get here, to this point in our history. See the movie. It shows the worst and the best of us. Then think, be a vessel for change. All we need is love.
