My Pastor was off the chain again today. If you live in San Antonio and dont have a church home and want the TRUTH then True Vine Baptist Church is the place to be. Pastor Grice focus was on the singles today. The first thing he said was dont come to church looking for a mate, come to praise and worship Jesus Christians) or to accept and get to know Him (unsaved). He said the Bible says that singleness is a gift 1 Corinthians 7:7. He said being single is a good thing and that it is not Gods will that everybody get married. Being single one can devote more of their time to the Ministry of Jesus Christ. So ladies dont be so quick to jump in to any relationship just to say that we are married, when the fact of the matter is we a miserable. Single Christians are to put serving God first before finding a mate. He says if those desires comes up we are to pray for self control. Bottom line is being single is not a curse or a bad thing it can be a blessing if we let. If we got saved single then we are to remain as such. We are not to order our own steps but wait on God to order our steps. Single people wait on the Lord I say wait on the Lord and if its in His will He will send you a Christian mate. Please dont let our lustful desires get us into something outside the will of God. Kingdom business folks.
