My Prophet - 2 Prophet Muhammad (SAW) And Muslims Among all the prophets who are messengers that are Prophet, are Issa (i.e Jesusu) and Muhammad ( May Allah Peace be upon them). Both prophets or messengers have the highness followers today. Paternally they are descendant of same father, in essence, they are brethren. Both of them either say Shallom or Asalaam Aleikum ! Which mean peace, of which its root meaning is an attribute of God in Islam. Muhammad as model to All Mankind Prophet Muhammad is not only a model to all Muslims but all so to all mankind because of his outstanding quality and rational ways of life. It is a pity, his teachings are not well understood today, by many, including some Muslims, My elementary knowledge of prophetic teaching taught me that in his life, he was publicly criticised. defamed, blackmailed by critics and some of the famous poets of that time. In fact, he was driven out Mecca to Medina in order to avoid the plots of his detractors. While some poets are busy defaming him, some poets later were showering his praises, when it got to an extent, he forbade them from praising him because all praises belong to Allah. The prophets did not at any point in time instructed any of his followers to kill, maim, hold hostages in other to defend HIM or ISLAM as a religion. Pen, is it not mightier than sword? The Prophet teaching to all Muslims is that pen is mightier than sword, Let us assume that the world is against us now that Islam has been spread throughout the whole world where Islam was not in existence before without our efforts. Are Muslims forgetful of how best to propagate Islam? Is it by violence approach or with WISDOM? What is the wisdom in killing 12 innocents souls just because our beloved Prophet was satirically defamed? our best approach is to come out logically to tell the world what Islam or Prophet Muhammad stood for. Continue to free the minds of our females and all Muslims with good education which is the lost property of all Muslims. In my personal opinion and understanding of Islam, Prophet Muhammad teachings and practical examples in life does not support violent activities to propagate or defend Islam. However, Muslims are allowed just like anybody has a right of self defence or defend their right when trampled upon in the same proportion. Why can we defend ourselves or the prophets in same manner by writing a strong defence of the prophet. Oh Allah, you are best wisdom and knowledge.
