My Stranger In The Sea A stranger once amongst the crowds As distant is the earth from the clouds A stranger with no name ,a hidden face Til fate stepped in to meet with grace Troubled as the seas with thunder as my friend Sunshine is not for me, only them Embracing solitude and holding destruction by the hand To be slaughtered by life, no shepherd to be found Just the lamb A stranger dried the seas Of which were drowning me How foolish and stupid that I could not see A dessert if not just for dry lands But for those who have no one to hold their hand A stranger, a friend and then a love These steps seemed to me unknown For I saw no one around, but somehow found A soul among clay of men amongst the crowd I thanked fate for the gentle kiss it blew my way And waved to grace for allowing me to stay This stranger was now my love So close now, how my being existed before seemed like a song with no sound Such sweet things from this storm came Maybe fate, the seas, grace and God were just playing a game
