My Testimony. Yes, miracles still happen! Lord, I share your marvelous deeds to me with my friends, to testify to your miraculous healing powers and to tell the whole world that you are still the God of yesterday, today and always. On the 11th of May, 2011, precisely, i fell down in my bathroom, inside my room at our school hostel because some water poured on the floor and before I knew it, the slipperiness of the place made me lose control and I landed with my waist forcefully on the pavement that separated my room from the bathroom. I thought it was a minor thing, though I was unable to walk for two days. When I went to see my doctor at the teaching hospital, he requested that I do an x-ray which I did .From the result, he told me I had slipped discs at lumber 3, 4, and 5. The whole thing persisted and I had to be in a severe pain and agony for 2years plus. I had series of x-rays which pointed at the same thing. At a point I was unable to Stand, sit or move about. Last year 2012, I went to Enugu and had a 60,000 naira test call MRI at Neuro- surgical hospital and the result said I have bulged discs at L3, 4 and 5. They told me that the only option was for me to have surgery to correct it and the surgery would cost a million plus. I wept out my heart, not because of the finance but because I was not sure of surviving it. I concluded that if ever I go in for the surgery I was going to die in there, because my hope was lost at the mention of that surgery, still I had no option than to succumb to it since the pain I was experiencing was unbearable. I told my parents and they told me to pick a date for the operation to be carried out, if surgery was the last option. I was unable to accept that, as the last option still, i had no alternative. Considering the fact that the pain was so much on me, I had no other choice than to meet the doctor for a date, then and there, I commended my spirit into the hands of God and told Him in tears that whatever that would be my fate after, the operation, I whole heartedly accept that. I shouted that God, the highest chief medical surgeon should never let me be put to shame. Oh! Our God is a merciful God! When I entered, I met the chief medical surgeon who suggested I try prayer either while we wait on God. He told me that I should suspend the surgery till some years further that after praying for some couple of years and no change came I can then go for the operation that since I am still very young that I may have to wait to see if my body tissues can fasten the healing. I was surprise and left the hospital with pain on my waist and songs of joy on my lips. I thanked the doctor for the hope he gave me. I came back home and continued in my prayers and other treatments like Acupuncture and physcio therapy though with severe pain all over me. To cut the long story short my friends, today, the 18th of June 2013, I was alone with my younger brother after he came back from school, something in me told me to call him for a 3.00 divine mercy prayer, though, we usually say the prayer at every 3.00 pm, but for over a week plus we had never said it as we often do. When he entered my mother’s room, it was 3.04 and we started the prayer. Though I was lying down, he knelt down and we started. After we completed the prayer, he went back to continue what he was doing before I called him. Something told me to call him, to help me stretch my back, I called him and he came. I lay on my belly and told him to hold my two legs from behind and he held my legs. I started the exercise of back stretch. I told him to count from 1- 100 and he did. At the count of hundred, I got up and behold, the pain that usually puts me off balance, stopped. For 2years plus, I had never gone downstairs without the help of my magnetic waist support without much difficulties and pain , but to my surprise, I did that again and again today without pain and difficulty. I prayed for miracles and it has pleased the Lord of miracles to grant me one today. Please all my friends and well- wishers, especially my school mates that had been praying for miracles with me and for me, thank God with me and join to shout, go to the top of the mountain, clap and shout for joy with me for His power of miracle has no end . Shout with tambourine, for great is the holy one of Israel and our mother Mary, for remembering me today His poor handmaid. Oh! Who am I that the Lord has remembered me in such a wonderful day and way like this? I weep for joy and my joy will have no end. I will offer you a burnt offering Lord. Like the sun flower that followers every movement of the sun, so My Lord I turned towards you, to follow you till my end. Lord, so long as I live, I will forever follow you. There is no going back. Yes, you have chosen me and with you by me, I shall always follow you till death. Oh! Lord, let this you have done for me be permanent, through Christ our Lord… please, shout Amen with me for the Lord is a covenant keeping God.
