My Thoughts for the Day: NEW YAWK 8/12 So very saddened at the loss of not only one of our great actors, but truly a remarkable human being - Robin Williams. This loss is so great that my Dad even called me to hear if I has heard the news. Once again, you never know what youve got until its gone. Hug those you love a bit tighter and tell those you love how much they mean to you. Such limited time here on this planet in this human suit and my wish is that we all take advantage of each moment we have. Now that the sad stuff is out of the way, our lil Hershey (bar) was such a good boy last night! He let me sleep until 5:30am before Hurricane Hershey went swirling through the house. John is feeling the effects of the kitty. This morning he looks ragged like I did yesterday. Day 2 and I got the morning routine down! Even left the house early. Maybe Ill be better at this than I realize. Thankfully he doesnt have to be walked. ;) Im trying to pull my shirt up while writing this as the guy standing in front of me is blatantly staring down it. I should tell him this peep show isnt free. I get youre a guy and you do what you do, but at least be inconspicuous instead of twisting your neck forward and down to get a peek. I was just thinking about people who have accomplished their dreams or goals were once the same people who dreamt about them. Who were the same people who ran into roadblocks and challenges. The same ones who thought things werent going anywhere or wish they had happened sooner. But they are also the people who never gave up. Who showed up everyday and kept taking steps towards what they wanted. One day, if we continue to go after what our heart TRULY desires, we also will be standing in the midst of our dream, looking back and smiling about how at one time, it only seemed like a dream. On the train and all I see are the newspapers with Robins face splashed all over it. This death has hit people from everywhere around the world. Even the people that usually are playing Candy Crush or reading their books in other languages are reading about him right now. Its a sad, sad day. Damn. Im trying to move on from this but it hurts. John got me my Nespresso machine!!! I am so excited to make my first latte!! I used it once at my friends house and it was one of the best coffees I have ever had and now its mine, mine, mine!! Maaaaybe Ill share. ;) I feel its only right to pay tribute to Robin Williams in my MINUTE MOTIVATION video today. It seems now that Im in a hurry to get home to see the lil one, the train is dragging at each stop. Move it along, MTA! There cant be that much train traffic. When we are born, we are these beautiful and perfect human beings and then we grow up and are taught fear and judgement and competition and lack and everything else the world throws at us. The thing is, that is not the truth! We are so powerful, so creative, so wise, talented, and abundant, but then we forget and we allow all of these thoughts weve learned become our truths and then we go out Into the world sub consciously looking for the world to be this way and when you want to see something, you certainly will find it. We need to get back to our centers and remember that we are made of LOVE and we will always and forever be LOVE. Anything else is a false belief that weve learned to believe. Our job now is to remove all the obstacles that we have built around ourselves that keep our light from the world. I almost just slipped on a banana peel! I thought that s*** just happened in cartoons!
