My Top Gear moment from this cab weekend: Three weeks ago, they got the bright idea to install a digital marquis to the roof of the cab I drive. The thing is about 2 and a half feet long, a foot and a half feet tall, and mounted length-wise. The first weekend it was there, it was loose and rattled like crazy with every little ripple in the road. The second Sunday, this was fixed. This past Sunday, however, it was REALLY windy, and with each side-gust, it was throwing me off the road. Now...the mechanic for the cab fleet also drives a few shifts, and he was driving that day. I like him. Were both silly, so we have fun. When I got on the radio, however, and said The thing on my roof and this wind are having a lot of with each other, he replied, I bolted it down really good...just drive faster! LOL I was suddenly Richard Hammond to his Jeremy Clarkson.
