My Viet Nam buddy Richard Studebaker has been diagnosed with cancer. Please add him to your prayer list and offer a healing prayer for him. After some of us returned from Viet Nam we have come down with some ailments that has had an altering effect on our lives. The VA has bounced us around by saying they can not find proof that we were ever in Viet Nam. Our unit was the first ever Air Force unit trained to defend the bases the same as the US Army and the US Marines. We did good. Since our initial introduction of base defense, there has been several units trained to do the same as we did. Some of our companions has come down with ailments that the VA refuses to acknowledge. Imagine what todays fighting man/woman is going through to get what they earned. We get back to the US and was called a slew of derogatory names. We were simply doing our jobs. Kind of make you want to hurt somebody.
